Bucket Hat: The Fisherman Hat That Was a Hit With a Generation

Many, many summers ago, more precisely between the 90s and 2000s, a hat style emerged in urban fashion that, even unintentionally, conquered an entire generation of followers. Yes, that's what we're talking about: the bucket hat.

Also known as a fisherman's hat – due to its shape that resembles the straw hats used by fishermen in the past and later replaced by lighter fabrics – the bucket hat had its days of glory, even disappearing for a bit around 2010, but in recent years it has taken over the style of young people. And why is that? Because the bucket hat is democratic, it goes with the day, with the night, with open or closed environments and with people of different ages, genders and styles.

There is no specific rule for wearing the bucket hat – remembering that it was previously mentioned that it is a super democratic hat – which means that it is versatile and fits perfectly on any occasion.

It doesn't matter if you have long, short, curly, straight or braided hair... the bucket hat fits your style perfectly.

There are various types of colors, prints and fabrics. If you like to wear more formal or tailored clothes, it goes well; if you like dresses: it goes well; but if you like more casual clothes, like a sweatshirt and an oversized shirt: it also goes well. Furthermore, it's worth noting that if you're going out to relax and, especially, fish, the bucket hat is a perfect match!
